Don't Be A Monster only became the program it grew to be because of the people who were passionate about this mission. These people dedicated countless hours to create programming and materials, and worked tirelessly to get assemblies in front of thousands of students.
One of those people was Mario Ochoa.
Mario loved everyone without prejudice. His endless compassion uplifted not only his family and friends, but the lives of so many in his beloved San Antonio. Mario was a great storyteller, always captivating, and used his talents to bring so much energy to the Don't Be A Monster presentations in San Antonio.
We are all deeply saddened by his passing, and will work to ensure that his love for this bullying prevention program lives on in all of us here at Don't Be A Monster.
